Penistone Camera Club was established in 1967 by a group of people passionate about photography. Since then the club has gone from strength to strength, with an ever growing membership. The club meets at 7.30pm every Wednesday Evening at the St Johns Community Centre, which is situated on Church Street adjacent to Penistone Church. There is a large car park and disabled access.
The programme of activities for the year includes club and inter-club competitions, outings to places of interest and guest speakers, who give talks on a variety of subjects. The annual programme is listed on the diary page. The club is well equipped with studio lights and props, laptops, digital projector, camera and A3 printer which are available on practical evenings and competition nights.
We invite members and friends to post images to the Flickr Group: Which is called Penistone Camera Club – Photos we share. Do submit images to this page you first have to have your own Flickr site – then you can post from your own site to a group.
